OSR provides technology that converts existing networks from random hardware and software components into an appliance. It is OSR’s view that computer systems and their networks can no longer be seen as simply a collection of devices, but rather as an appliance.  Common items such as toasters, radios, and TVs are no longer considered amazing devices.  They are just appliances that are expected to work when called upon, and generally speaking, the user does not need or want to know how they work.
